Our Garden Party walk started at The Neatherd, passing through the ‘old’ cemetery, down Golf Lane and through the Humbletoft Estate to reach the path above Rushmeadow. There followed a pleasant walk through the trees before a climb out to Sandy Lane. Then it was up to Gingerbread corner and behind Quebec Hall to reach Northall Green. Here we were able once again to enjoy the benefits of the clearance work on the restricted byways (pictured) down to The Neatherd, and a short walk back to the start and the tea and cakes kindly supplied by Philip and Brigitte. And no one minded the very light scattering of drizzle that sometimes accompanied us.
